A cautionary note on crossposts
Shared posts from other Substacks necessarily share other viewpoints.
View from China with an Austrian School of Economics Perspective
Last year Substack created the option to crosspost content from other Substacks. Such crossposts provide an opportunity not only to share what is hopefully content relevant for our readers, but also to discuss and (in some cases) challenge the perspective of their authors.
While we are unlikely to share content we completely disagree with, readers should not assume that we necessarily fully agree with their content. Such complete agreement is hardly necessary as long as this is clear. After all, there is lots of worthwhile content out there which is not written from an Austrian perspective. Moreover, to the extent that they address issues relevant to China, such alternative perspectives can also serve as a basis for fruitful discussions. To see and/or participate in these discussions, you of course need to click through from the email to the actual online version of the post.
So in that light, be respectful, but feel free to share your take in the comments.
